  What menus are available in the CHECK iN SEOUL app?

  

  The CHECK iN SEOUL App has a total of 5 menus, designed so you can prepare for travel, make payments, and enjoy benefits all in one place.

  1. Main
     - You can view the hottest content in Korea now through ‘Nearby’ and ‘Trending.
     - This menu provides various travel information such as nearby merchants, recommended attractions, events, and restaurants.
  2. Card
     - You can check your card and transportation card balance, view transaction history, and top up.
  3. Benefits
     - You can view coupons and discount benefits at a glance.
  4. Store
     - You can purchase transportation and communication products at discounted prices.
  5. My
     - You can manage account information, passport verification, and more.
     - You can access personalization features, including settings and customer service.

  Why is passport verification required?

  

  Passport verification is carried out to confirm card ownership.
  If the passport received from U+ differs from the one you verify in the app, you may not be able to use the service.
  When you complete passport verification, a mobile passport is also issued for convenient use.

  How do I top up the card?

  

  The CHECK iN SEOUL card can be topped up in two ways.

  1. App
     ① Select MASTER · JCB · VISA card (2–3% fee applies) → ② Enter amount → ③ Top-up complete
  2. Kiosk
     ① Select the top-up method
     - MASTER · JCB card (2–3% fee applies)
     - Cash top-up (up to 90% exchange rate benefit)
     → ② Enter amount → ③ Top-up complete

  How do I use discount coupons?

  

  When paying at partner merchants offering benefits, simply present the CHECK iN SEOUL card together with the coupon.

  How do I apply the youth transportation card discount?

  

  After signing up for the app and registering your CHECK iN SEOUL card, the youth transportation fare discount is applied automatically.
  Youth discounts are available from ages 13 to 18, and switch to adult fares once you turn 19.

  Can I withdraw the remaining balance?

  

  You can withdraw CHECK iN SEOUL card balance through both the app and kiosks.

  1. App
     ① In the ‘CARD’ tab, tap the withdrawal button → ② Enter the amount → ③ Generate QR code → ④ Scan the QR code or enter the withdrawal code at the kiosk
  2. Kiosk
     ① Tap the withdrawal button → ② Scan passport and insert card → ③ Enter the amount

  * A withdrawal fee of KRW 1,000 applies.

  What should I do if I lose the card?

  

  If you lose your CHECK iN SEOUL card, you can temporarily suspend it or report it lost through the app.

  1. 'CARD' tab > Manage Cards > Temporarily Suspend or Report Lost
  2. MY > Account > Temporarily Suspend

  You can get a replacement at a kiosk, or if you find your card later, you can reactivate it and use it again.

  How do I use the CHECK iN SEOUL card?

  

  You can use it at most offline merchants in Korea that accept card payments.
  * Use may be restricted in some merchants.

  Online payments are only available within the CHECK iN SEOUL App.
